Barlív™ has no added color, artificial or synthetic materials, and includes no materials that would not be present in a natural product.

4.Is Barlív™ barley betafiber genetically modified?: No, Barlív™ barley betafiber is manufactured from a Non GM variety of barley.
5.Does Barlív™ barley betafiber provide fiber? How much?: Barlív™ barley betafiber is an excellent source of viscous soluble fiber. The total dietary fiber and soluble fiber contents of Barlív™ barley betafiber are 80% and 79% respectively.

In the near future, you will find Barlív™ barley betafiber in a wide variety of your everyday products, including bars, beverages, breads, breakfast cereals (ready-to-eat and cooked), cookies, crackers, instant rice, pasta products, muffins, salad and yogurt. The maximum incorporation rate for each of these food applications is 3gm beta-glucan (i.e. 4.3g Barlív™ barley betafiber) per serving. A level of 0.75gm beta-glucan per serving (1.1g Barlív™ barley betafiber) is required to make the health claim.
